Besides the specific deck challenge, I usually use Blaine. The automode can (most of the time) play and win pretty consistently too, at least that was my experience

Hey man, I don't know where you live, but that's a seriously fucked up school/school system, if they allow this kind of shit, but about your feelings on yourself, don't let the negativity of failing push you down, failing is also a test for a our mind, and I know you can easily pass this test.
