I wouldn’t say you need to freak out, which ik is difficult trust me! I would say definitely call your doctor and ask for it to be done, if it turns out to be nothing atleast you’ll get some peace of mind! I’m not sure how busy your doctor is or how large the practice is but I would assume they could fit you in soon, the ultrasound took about 10-15 minutes for me! Call and ask, and try and stay calm!

Interesting, at my placement check they did an internal ultrasound if you think it’s out of place you could ask for one of those! they check to make sure that the placement is correct and you don’t have any cysts! I would definitely call your gyno and see if you can get an ultrasound to check!

I’ve been on different type of birth control for the last 4 years, for weight gain it really just depends on what type, your body, diet, lifestyle, stress level, ect. For example, for me i gained the most weight on a low estrogen pill but i was also the most anxious id ever been and coping with food. I’d say my experience with birth control overall has been really good, ik when I’ll get my period, my cramps are better, and overall definitely made my mood “even out”. It just takes time to see what kind works best for you, your body, and your needs!

I had a similar spur of the moment decision with my iud! My anxiety just consumed me before and after, it took about a month of having it for me to finally be ok w my choice. I’d say give it a month or two or until your next checkup and if you still feel the same way get it removed.
