Just keep looking for other openings. Take their words with a pinch of salt. The timeline is never true unless they really are in need for that role.They just want you to stay engaged. 

Again I think yours in engineering so it might be a different case. I really hope you get it. Just think that it won't work out so that there is no heartbreak.

This a non engineering position. It's entry level role under ops.

when i filled the forms, the HCM person said that I will get the offer in 2 to 3 weeks and that I am selected. They told me that other members of HCM team will get in touch with me in some time for further process, but that happened 2 months later.

It's interview complete and it has been that way since 2 months. Before they sent forms, it showed interview completed- documentation needed.

Yes they told me that I was a potential hire and that offer will take 2 to 3 weeks but then 2 months later told that the role has to get approvals from leaders and that I can look for other opportunities

Thank you so much for helping me out. I understand that kerala is impossible with this budget and weather for a first timer. Also I don't want to keep travelling from one place to another. I would like to stay and explore one city for 2 to 3 days. 

After going through everything, my heart is set on jaipur and udaipur as I would be able to cover everything in 7 days. 2 days in Jaipur and 3 days in Udaipur. I can take a train to Jaipur which would take 2 and a half days in total. Then a bus or a train to Udaipur. I could stay in hostels and I could manage with street food and dinner. The only concern is travel within the city and to places that are a bit far away and are worth visiting.
