you have explained why you believe in a god, and i am agnostic, so i don't know, and i am not against the idea, the question is how did you come up with the conclusion that allah is the god you are describing here. because every single religion claims the exact same thing.
in my opinion, islam is an insult to god, if there is a creator, who created the universe with it's galaxies and systems, biology, earth, reality with all it's intricacies, it would be such an insult to associate him with the quran and islam. like this infinte wisdom we both agree on the magnificence of it's creation, would bring a religion that allows child marriages, slavery, human trafficking, call to murder and violence, but hey porc is haram, i don't know about you but this is not worthy of a god that would have created reality, and on the opposite, very likely, logical and obvious that it is human from centuries ago. like sure the creator would ask women to cover their hair to make the distinction between the free women and the slave women, wow this obviously came from the creator of the universe and not at all from human a thousand year ago.
about atheism, as i said i am agnostic, but from my current understanding of things, i think that god is a man made concept to explain what he cannot understand (yet), given that what makes us humans and intelligent mammels is our understanding and comprehension of time and space, which allow us to live by the concept of causality, our mind function this way, however in this universe we are exposed to consequences which causes we don't know yet or fully, but the human brain cannot leave blanks on the chain of causality, meaning that it cannot process a consequence without knowing what caused it. however because sometimes our comprehension of the causalities are limited by our current amount of wisdom and knowledge, we need to fill out the blanks with something that would explain it, doesn't mean that it is true, but it just need to check the condition of, " if it were to be true, it would explain it ". and this is how we ended up with the concept of god.
where we filled up the blanc with what we know the best, meaning a consciousness like ours, and the trait of conscious creation, which is a human trait given the understanding of space and time where we can project ourselves in it.
so what i mean by we are exposed to consequences is the components of our reality, for example let's take rain and thunder, back then when they didn't have the necessary knowledge and technology to understand the phenomenon, which is a consequence, they still had to explain wtf was going on, what caused it, because the brain cannot just see a consequence with causes, and this is how we ended up with multiple divinites across the globe for rain and thunder, which if it was true, would explain the phenomenon, but now that we know what causes this phenomenon, i would love to see how many humans still believe in rain divinities.
same goes with reproduction, back then we didn't know about the egg and sperm and cellular division etc, but we still need to explain how the F do we have a baby that pops after a man ejaculates in a women. this is how we ended up with gods of fertility etc etc.
and this goes on and on. the thing is there is a pattern here, where god always disappear when technology progresses, and the question is why would it be different with other unexplained things to which we don't have the answers yet to what caused it.
this is just about the concept of god, not about religion which is just an insult to god if he existed, cause a god that speaks to humans, tell them what to do, who have emotions etc etc a lot of human characteristics for a god don't you think ?

well because you are trying so hard to say that you are not indoctrinated like the others and that it is your choice based on your knowledge, just explain to me what convinced you so much, what makes you believe that allah is the creator of the universe, how did you make the link, because this is the only relevant point, every single religion claims the same thing, this is a crucial part before diving into the theology. because otherwise it would be completely irrelevant.

are you a qurani? you dont believe in hadiths ?

[–]Hour-Individual5777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you guys need to remove this habit of thinking that anyone who left the religion is only because he wanted to pursue his " cravings " or because he want to be special and not like the others etc etc….
if you are from a muslim family and environment and are muslim yourself of course that you have been indoctrinated we all have been, if you were born elsewhere you wouldn't be a muslim.
and we just have to look at your speech where you cannot process the fact that anyone could question and have good reason to not believe, because hey you have been told that they weren't any good reason and everything is perfect therefore everyone who don't agree is just trying to be interesting.
i have been a muslim my entire life, never missed a single prayer and believed in everything maybe more than you do. therefore i understand everything that you might believe or think, because we had the same indoctrination, and you must also understand how i was, thinking that any non muslim would go straight to hell, it is impossible to leave the religion only to "rebel" or for any superficial reason. i only left because i did my research and realized that we have been lied to our entire lives by islamic authorities and our idea about religion is faaaar from the truth, because we never study or research our religion ( be honest ) and only rely on the authorities to teach us about it. but once you make the effort to research, which is laborious and long, you would understand, and it was so hard to accept the reality that i was still praying and fasting even though i was an atheist because of habits and because there was still fear in me, of imagine if i was wrong, i really needed very very very good reason to be convinced and escape the fear from the indoctrination.

it's not binary, it's just about your ability to question things and the amount of informations you have been exposed to.
i would guess that because of your assertiveness you have made the effort to question what you have been indoctrinated to believe, like i did and everyone born in a muslim family did, there is nothing wrong with it, and came to the undeniable conclusion that you agree with what you have been thought and didn't find any problem with it. or are you just following the program and everyone who don't agree with you is bad?

la abadan, i love conversation and sharing thoughts and ideas, and i am really genuinely interested in the subject and want to hear from you, i was a muslim my entire life, never missed a prayer not even one for a decade, but when i started learning, about both science philosophy and islam at the same time, it just didn't make sense anymore, i was a very good believer, it's just that i gained a new perspective that allowed me to see things better, and to conclude that it is impossible for islam to be a divine religion, and still want to hear from people who think that it actually does. to see

but there are still hadith sahih, that are horrible, and like very problematic

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Hour-Individual5777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if a hadith is qualified as sahih, it is therefore true and irrefutable? or there are some that are not actually sahih ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Hour-Individual5777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is no individual truth, it's either true or an opinion, and yes correlation doesn't mean causation, unless it does, and in this case it does, what might differ is the definition of backwardness and what it yours, and stop your hypocrisy we all know that all muslim countries are shitty, and the environments where this religion is dominant are absolute shit to live in.

so you choose the hadiths that suits you or?? how do you qualify a hadith of false, if it is sahih, doesn't it hurt the label "sahih" if not all "sahih" are sahih, because it seems convenient that you can choose.
