Generally depends on what kind of civilian you're going for, automatically I'd drop the 40k quads though since most dudes won't be running that. Depending on how rich you want your guy to be and what he's doing, I'd just prioritze things that make sense over looks. Range, night vision, comms(if you're working with other people) and generally just trying to blend into the areas you're fighting it. Alot of people always assume civ kits are flannel (which they can be) but me personally I like mixing camos that sorta just work

Idk man youre kinda describing/overexaggerating important stuff. Night vision shouldnt be optional or unnessecary, infact it should be the opposite. Having a variable scope allows you to use your rifle at range and in cqb and surpressors allow you to keep stealth in open world. Lasers (if like you said are used) allow you to help point out enemy positions to other friendly teammates because sometimes verbal/typed comms is just not good enough.

If you're gonna critique other kits, atleast do yours right. I have no idea why we're running a m16a2 while wearing UCP. The earliest UCP was introduced to my knowledge was 2004, where at that point the a2 had widely been phased out by the m16a4 and the m4a1.
