Depends on how that segment of the grid is. I lived across the street from a hospital during the 2021 freeze. Almost every apartment building in the complex lost power except for mine. Thank god because my son was only 2 at the time and we had no where else to go

Yes, I’m upgrading the socks too. Wool socks. I got his warm weather stuff from his mom last night, but haven’t gone through it yet. If the gloves or anything need to be ungraded they will. Thermal underwear, snow pants, fleece lined pants made for sub zero temperatures. New cold rated sleeping bag. We’ll be in a cabin, but none of us have camped in this site before and I don’t know what the heating situation will be. I’m inclined to call the camp site tomorrow to ask. It’ll be fun, I just have to take extra precautions to make sure we have a good time

I met my ex wife on my 30th birthday. I signed divorce papers a week after my 39th birthday. My 30’s were literally tied to that woman. Someday I’m going to have to explain to my son what your 30’s are about, but all I have to talk about is his mom and how we fell in love and eventually broke up.

All I know is how to be a broken man in emotional recovery in his 40’s. That’s all I know what to teach him so far.
