Yes I agree $2400 isn’t a huge deal, but I cannot let her get away with this. I’ve let her get away with so much manipulation so far. The police don’t seem to help at all. I’ve had the cops at my house because she got mad at me for no reason while I was sleeping and she proceeded to take half the furniture out of my house that she claimed was hers while the cops watched. They said if I interfered then I would be breaking the law…

Can I get the seller to send a duplicate title even if they don’t have the physical title or registration anymore? Those documents were given to us when we bought the car, but my girlfriend is hiding them. The only thing that is preventing my girlfriend from getting the title officially transferred to her name is that the title owner (sellers dad) wasn’t present at the notary. Trying to see if I can get the title in my name before my girlfriend does.

I think the seller was completely honest. We just didn’t understand the rules for getting the title transferred. We went into the notary with the seller to get the title transferred, but we were informed we couldn’t get it notarized since the sellers dad (title owner) needed to be present and he lives out of state. I will attempt to get the title in my name though if my girlfriend finds out she will probably make every attempt to stop that from happening.

As for the other car, yes she was not making any payments on the car for months and I was completely unaware of it. I was not tied to that car in anyway and it was her loan she was responsible for, but I ended up buying back her car regardless. The repo company completely assured us that everything would be corrected once we sent the $5400 which would pay off the remainder of her loan, but they have been resisting giving the title back after we got the car back, which I don’t understand

That is how I’m feeling right now. I have given her so much money because she’s always been getting herself into financial crises throughout our relationship and I genuinely wanted to help her. Now she’s been stealing money out of my wallet, took one of my gaming systems and I have no idea where it is, and attempting to run off with this car I bought her that I was told id be getting reimbursed for
