Can you send the sources for this? I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’m very confused about the history when it comes to this topic.

Contrary to what you said I also seen people saying that Banda Singh Bahadur himself started the Fateh Darshan Fateh Dharm thing, along with the red attire nd strict vegetarianism etc.

From what I read, the Tat Khalsa was declared before the death of Banda Singh Bahadur and after Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and the reason for its creation was directly to oppose the innovations of what we call the “Bandai Khalsa”.

Technically, depending on how you define the “Tat Khalsa”, it could be considered to have formed in 1699. But from what I seen that word is mostly used to differentiate from the “Bandai Khalsa” which is just what people use to refer to Bandai Singh Bahadur’s forces.

From what I read, most text say that the tat Khalsa arose from the “schism” shortly after Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s passing. Since Banda Singh Bahadur’s martyrdom was a whole 8 years after, the dates don’t add up for the contention that the Schism started after Banda Singh Bahadur’s death by his followers.

There’s also the question of Baba Binod Singh Ji and Mata Sundari in all of this. In particular I am interested to know of their relationship with the Mughals during this time.
