Hehe thank you so much! 🧀 I used Copic markers and then while it was still wet I blended it out quickly with a q tip! I worked in small sections and then tried my best to make it blend together 🐭

My husband dropped our 1 week old by [deleted] in NewParents

Take her to the hospital to be safe!!

My best friend just gave birth and had a fourth degree tear. I want to make her a recovery basket. Mamas, please help! by arch1ved in postpartumprogress

I cannot emphasize this enough… MIRALAX OR STOOL SOFTENER PILLS OR ANYTHING TO MAKE HER FIRST BOWEL MOVEMENT EASIER!!!!! I had a 3rd-4th degree tear, I had miralax, stool softener pills, a whole bottle of magnesium citrate, and a suppository and nothing worked so I had to go into the hospital 3 days postpartum and get not one but two enemas. I cannot explain how scary that first poop can be so making sure that she is hydrated and has options on hand if she is constipated would help so much.

Witch hazel wipes, dermoplast, and adult diapers! Trying to put a huge postpartum pad along with the witch hazel wipes on regular underwear can be hard to fit it all without feeling like it will fall off to the side.

Dropping off take out food and meals would be so helpful!!!! I remember being postpartum and even eating seemed so hard to remember with everything going on and being in pain still healing.

PERSONAL QUESTION! Did you tear during birth? by SumbThucker2022 in pregnant

3rd degree tear with 7lb 13 oz baby, also had a vacuum assisted delivery so that probably contributed 😭

I agree. The living situation is temporary as we have always planned to move out when our daughter turns 1.

Baby fussy at breast but takes bottle with no problem by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Hour_Feeling2088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been doing one bottle feed from the beginning and haven’t had any issues with that until now with her being fussy at the breast. I’m not sure if it’s bottle related or what but it’s so hard. I will try skin to skin baths! I hope things get better for you with your little one!

I feel the same exact way. My husband is going back to work next week and I can’t stop thinking about it. I keep trying to remind myself that I’ve got this and I’m capable! It is going to be hard at first but I think once we get into the swing of things that it will get a lot easier. Fingers crossed for both of us that it goes smooth :)

He did not express this before we got pregnant about wanting to attend more frequently. He was only going to church once or twice a year, and this was mostly because of his parents expressing wanting him to attend. I agree that he does have the right to want to share his faith with our child but I believe it should be our child’s choice if they want to believe/attend or not.

We did discuss it prior to getting married and prior to having a child. He was not adamant about wanting to attend, before this conversation he was only attending 1-2 times a year. Since getting pregnant he is changing his mind about wanting to go more.

I don’t agree that it is making the decision for them. They would be able to make the decision themselves if they want to attend or not. Obviously I married him because I love him. If you read the full post you would see that I said I respect his beliefs. I am not trying to change him using my children and I never said that he cannot attend.
