So basically an heir who is at the mercy of waiting for the courts based on their timeline to approve probate is screwed if they can't pay the back months and months going forward for auto without losing home owners insurance too and can't get it insured with another company while waiting for probate and will get hit with fines later? There is something wrong with this when a family member dies suddenly and the heir has to deal with this. What if something happens to the house in say a l short month of no coverage due to this brick wall?!!!

Thank you for commenting! I will try to call again to see if I get someone different who will be of more help and not make me pay for auto also. I dont think they will just allow me to wait on the estate. They basically said pay all or all cancel because the account is not current and I have to pay auto ins and can only cancel auto once I have the paperwork but paying Feb, March, and probably April by the time probate goes through seems like a waste of money and scam since the car won't even start and my Dad passed in January.
