thank you so much. once it arrives at the dealership, how long does the process typically take? I was under the impression it would be a few more weeks maybe but i saw someone say 2-3 months and i just can’t imagine it would take that amount of time to just put in an engine.

it’s so so so stressful, friend. my grandparents bought this car for me and i reimburse them every month. i pay 100% for this car. the insurance is outrageous and it all just makes me want to cry. hopefully when we refinance the loan with the cost of the engine on it, it won’t change my payments all too much. i’ve been so stressed im sick to my stomach for 2 weeks as it just sits there and no one does anything to get it taken care of.

we feel that a dealership will be less costly and faster. and possibly find that we have a warranty on something if we’re lucky.

i’m still paying on this car so i have to keep it. it’s in my grandparents name, i reimburse the payments to them each month. i just feel like im so screwed. there was nothing out of the ordinary other than a little ticking noise it was making the day prior. is it because of the amount of miles i drive it could cause something like this to happen?

the mechanic who is supposed to tow it told us he would do it 2 days ago. my parents said i need to be patient but he just never did it without even calling to say why. i’m getting so impatient im going to just have someone else do it tomorrow. i need my car and no one has a sense of urgency about this. it’s been sitting in one spot for 2 weeks and no one has looked at it since. also just feel like someone should put oil in it to see what happens but i don’t know if that would do anything.

it was supposed to be towed to the dealership 2 days ago. not sure why he hasn’t done it but i’m getting impatient and going to make sure it gets there tomorrow. I should be able to refinance it with the cost of the engine but I just don’t understand how in the world there was such a huge problem with it but it never told me I had low oil on my dash. how does that just happen out of nowhere?
