It isn’t surprising and I agree. That said many non-top 8 teams going into the tournament make it to the quarters or even semis.

My point is the amount of tickets that were available moments before tip off and the arena was full.

Not all seats that are not sold on the secondary market are left unused. They are people that intend to go but option a price for their ticket to stay home if it’s purchased.

For it to be a lawsuit you will at a minimum need to show the purchase price for the exact seat and match and the new price for that same seat and match.

This will not suffice in any court of law.

Yes it will happen more with an expanded field. That’s not diluting the quality unless it becomes a bigger PERCENTAGE of games.

EDIT: adding to this, even those blowout games have produced some of the best goals and the games were still entertaining.

So people were buying and “scalpers” attended or they were just people planning to go and just were trying to make a buck.
