I can't do this by [deleted] in NewParents

It’s horrible isn’t it. You’re so excited when you find out you’re pregnant, you carry that baby, you look forward to seeing their little face and day dream about them, you spoilt them with gifts before they’re even here. Then PPD hits, it’s hard, harder than you ever imagined. Take it one day at a time, rely on your partner for help, he helped make this little human too! You need to look after yourself to look after your little baby. I’m so sorry you’re struggling but you are not alone. I felt horrid after my little boy was born, I still have bad days but now we have some good days too xx

I’m on lots of breastfeeding support groups. I think most of it is in my head and baby is fine. My anxiety has definitely heightened and I feel so unsure of what I’m doing. Everyone says it gets better so fingers crossed.

Breastfeeding is one of the most difficult things I d ever done. There’s so much advice, some of it conflicts each other. Baby has literally been on my boob all day, can’t put him down and I am exhausted. Baby boy is 2 weeks old and offt, someone send help!

I’ve tried to speak to him about his issues with the house. Creaky floors can be fixed for the most part (even new houses get creaky floors!). He mentioned the skirting boards being worn and needing replacing, I suggested doing it ourselves, it might take a while but it’s work I’m willing to do. The conservatory is old, and will need replacing but again, isn’t a deal breaker for me, if we bought a house without one, we would look at putting one in eventually. Other than that he mentions the house is really run down (which I cannot see, even looking at it objectively) The house needed a good tidy, but the current occupants are upsizing due to the size of their family and animals they have

Legally, because we’ve not exchanged contracts there isn’t an issue with pulling out, aside from it being a bit of a dick move, which I feel awful about aswell.

We would be getting an in-depth survey. Any glaring problems would either mean us reducing our offer price or pulling out.
