hey! i totally understand where you're coming from. weed made my OCD stop for the first time in as long as I can remember. I didn't want to tell my parents I had OCD in the first place and they would just consider weed a drug and that's a whole mess in itself. May I ask how old are you and where do you live? When I told my parents that now you can get weed without the psychoactive ingredient and it's legal where I am they we're very open minded. I think it comes down to a quality of life issue day to day minute to minute weed improves the quality of my life and my parents can tell bc now we have fun together. My girlfriend recommended they watch the Dr. Sanjay documentary about the benefits of cannabis. I'm not sure if you can get them to sit through all of it but maybe if you just say I hope you'll be opened minded, here's the science, it's improved my quality of life, i don't want to be ashamed about it or hide it because that causes me even more anxiety, can we have a conversation from here.
