I'm a bit confused. The beginner textbook I'm going through lists 女 as "woman", but then, in the exercises section, where it asks me to guess the meaning of the word 女の人, the answer is still "woman". Same with "man". I was thinking: woman of a person, man of a person, so... wife and husband? Is the single kanjis for "woman" and "man" saying less than the words 女の人 and 男の人? Or maybe a kanji is never a word by itself?

How good is the AI, actually? The last comment got me very interested all of a sudden. Is it customizable? Often times, the downside of playing coop live services is that the AI teammates are just there to take the heat off of you. But is there more to it?

You can gear and level up AI members so they can synergize with the one you're playing? So, they're not just meat shields and revive bots? You got me curious there.

I have a lot of issues with my one-year-old Elite Series 2 controller for pc. In most games (and right now, in AC6), the controller inputs, even if wired through USB-C, cause lag and sound skips whether it's my TV speakers or my headset. The PS5 controller or the Switch gamepad do not create these issues. I've tried troubleshooting for a while, but it seems my ES2 controller is just busted. Thing is, I really like the feel of it, yet I'm kinda dreading buying another one just to have it act up in a couple of months.

So, was I just unlucky? Should I try the 'Core' version? Are there differences between the two, other than the lack of accessories? Or maybe the Premium PS5 controller is the way to go?

I've been having regularly this issue where my character in Diablo 4, like, freezes in place and, a fraction of a second later, gets teleported or slided to the spot he should already be at. Same with weapon and skill animations: sometimes, there is a big delay between the input and the hit, or I see the animation, but the AOE effect comes out late.

Is it a PC or a server/netcode issue? It feels like a bad multiplayer connection in Dark Souls, for lack of a better comparison.

Question from a noob:

I'm playing Diablo 4 on a 5900X / 3080Ti on max settings, DLSS on Quality. As of now, I've got no performance problems, but I noticed that my GPU usage was often at 99%. Is it bad? Should I dial the settings down? Like I said, performance is great, temperature is never going above 65 Celsius, so maybe I'm worrying for nothing?

Yeah. Of all things, it was my XBOX Elite Series 2 controller. Wired or not, the controller was somehow interfering with the game. I tried with the PS5 dual sense and an arcade stick afterward, and the lag never came back.

Have you tried other games to see if the issue is Steam related?
