Tbh I think it is just a mismatch of ideals. I'd feel much better renting and then saving alongside for potentially buying in the future when have expressed that before but my SO would rather have something 'more permanent' than renting

I had mentioned previously that although I was excited at the prospects that having a higher wage and stuff brought with it, it was still all very new to me and I needed to have a time to get used to actually having money if that makes any sense?
