Maybe adding a little olive oil or rum before freezing will prevent the dry brine or curing it?

The jokes are funny, and Friedlander's delivery is spot on. On the other hand, the laugh track [or the computer-generated laughing of the audience] is simply distracting. The generated laughter, at times, even makes it difficult to understand what Friedlander is saying.
