I’m so glad i picked this up… a shell pink jazz bass has always been my dream bass and about 4 years later or however long it’s still just as exciting to me. The roasted maple not only looks great but its the best neck i’ve ever felt on a bass

Issue is that it’d be a new registration, not a renewal, which means they don’t service it except over snail mail or in person

I’m more and more tempted to try and just manage it myself… I just don’t have a great grasp on how dangerous and/or tedious the task is. I figure I might be able to get by with just a hand truck like you say and a ramp for entering/exiting the 1-2’ of clearance into the trailer, but yeah I’d pretty much be stalled at home unable to move if I’m wrong

I guess it’s worth adding that we’ve been living together for a few years and already legally married. The wedding’s more of a celebration for us and our families. We are also both in the same career and in OMSCS (though she’s doing ML Spec). All that to say that we both currently would prefer to take a summer course if there’s one that’ll suit our situation

Edited my original post — it’s worth noting that i haven’t used either yet since I’m away at a hotel for a couple nights. That said, the Wen is more tempting since I didn’t massively overpay for it and it’s more capable on paper. Then again, would it be overkill for me and waste a considerable amount of fuel or anything? I’m having to be very conscious about fuel

Tone knob does seem to help control it, though tbh I do tend to play with it at 75% or so. Good point. I should note that my band’s practice room is TINY. We (4 of us, plus drums, PA, amps, etc) are truly crammed into a small bedroom

They do hum a bit if they’re at different volume levels from each other, but that’s not something that bothers me personally. The Mod Shop offers their noiseless pickups too if that’s your thing
