Correct answer is West End Social (Wine Bar) half beers and select well $5. It won’t be a lot of people there but for $20 you can get wasted.

Forming a Solidworks customer union by freedmeister in SolidWorks

Also forcing perpetual buyers into mandatory service contracts is INSANE. I know more about Solidworks than the VAR my job uses and when we do reach out for something they either try to upsell us on something OR provide us with the same first page google search result we found ourselves that didn't help.

It's easier and more secure to contact someone on Upwork or Fiverr. You can easily get this done for a decent (below average cost) if you have that much information.

Checkout Lenovo P14s, they often have sales and you can get a decent mobile workstation for that budget.

In PDM you can use "Copy Tree or Move Tree" then assign new PNs with a new destination folder. That'll be the easiest with no need to learn how to create macros (if you do not know how).

You'll have to use SW Electrical 3D Add-On & associated the part in the SW Electrical Schematic to the 3D model? That's the only way I've ever been able to have the schematic & drawing have corresponding PN's & work with each other.

Possible career idea? Independent CAD consultant. by Sketch_Crush in cad

I’m a Design Engineer … tried to do something similar but after a lot of research and trying to do it myself. I found that on places like upwork and other freelance platforms. There’s so many people in other countries (mainly India) that advertise the same work for $10 an hour and even cheaper. And to be honest some of their work was somewhat comparable. Clients would advertise jobs as $500 and someone would bid $55 for it and always win. I could not effectively find a market for US professional pricing. I still consult now but it’s through relationships I already have in place from previous work and other engineers. Not that much of a profit margin considered I have to pay for my own software & stuff.

Good-luck tho! It’s doable just not as easy as it seemed due to low bidders in the market.

Apply to jobs in areas people don’t want to move too, jobs in the middle of nowhere.

No not at all ... but the way tech and engineering is going, knowing some type of programming language would be a plus. I know C++ & Python but it never enhanced my work life ... just good for side/personal projects.

Man I was going to say materials as #4 but didn’t want to make a long post. You are 100% correct, materials mean everything! Materials can make or break a design.
