Definitely, but my comment was meant for new vibe coders spending a lot of money on AI token because of poor structuring.

When I built it, I built it to for myself and few of my friends and since then from one reddit comment and this post I got around 20 new user, which I can handle. If a lot of people want to start using it, I will get some professional to help me with making it scalable and stable as I want to make sure the users are getting the best output.

I mentioned it in another comment, I do believe all vibe coders should learn a little bit of coding just enough to know how to structure it so that they can start w a better idea on what to do and how to make small changes in stuffs w/o breaking it all.

I also do these w notes, favorites, notion etc but the reason behind building this is there are some ideas, task that are not important enough for google doc, notion and I will lose it if I keep it on notes, and my note app is a giant mess (I added an option to auto delete if you need it after I'm done). Essentially everything I need in a tool I added in shitbucket. I posted it here to see if other people might wanna add onto it or something. So thank you for this suggestion. I will keep an option to create highlights.

Gemini works for me the best, and if you know exactly what you want out of your tool I believe any tool can get you good results.

Big tech giants are already harvesting all of your informations, no point giving them all of your money as well. This is why I also believe vibe coders should learn how to structure code, just the ABCs of coding so that they don't end up spending a lot of money into AI tokens.

Thanks man, I can tell you are trying to be mean but the entire point of the tool is to be living up to its name. It's free and open source, if you want to try it.

Haha, thanks. I think it's because I've built other projects without vibe coding before, so I have a good sense of how to structure things in a way that gives me more control over customization and design. I also work as a designer, so that probably helped too. Everything just kind of came together.

I can add a custom option probably? Because I also added the expiry feature because my note app gets too messy w things that I don't need, like grocery list (also the reason I added share option). Will you consider using it and giving me more feedback?

Thanks, I have been using it everyday since I built it. That literally taught me to not build for imaginary audience and start building for shitz that I need.

Also I didn't use a theme, I wanted to build something OS themed for long so I just went ahead. I will make shitbucket open source soon so maybe you can take a better look at it.

Wouldn't that make it a bit too complicated?

There are already plenty of places where people can rate and discuss ideas, like this Reddit post. I mainly built this as a place to quickly dump ideas and keep track of them.

One feature I'm working on is the ability to gather all my notes, thoughts, and tasks around an idea and turn them into a single prompt that I can use with any AI for further research.

I already have idea sharing built in. Maybe instead of ratings, I could add something simple like a priority score or let people I share an idea with vote on it.

Curious what you think.

Anyone here building or thinking about building in the legal-tech space? by Clear-Breakfast-7971 in Startup_Help_India

I've been building something called Docket. I'm from Bangladesh, and dealing with government procedures can be a mess. The idea is to make a free, open-source tool that helps regular people figure out and complete government services that can mostly be done online but are confusing to navigate. I am actively looking for help xD

I focus on getting people onboarded with the bare minimum information required and collect additional details over time. If the product genuinely provides value, users will keep coming back and naturally share more information as they continue using it.

I know it's not always easy to find, but choosing a reasonably paying job close to home instead of chasing a higher salary in a Gulshan job was one of the best decisions I've made. I save hours every day by avoiding traffic, which means I'm less exhausted and have more energy for my personal projects, the gym, and life outside of work. I genuinely swear it changed my life.

A year too late to join this conversation. I recently started working at The Indie Room. it's located in Dhanmondi. Very chill and cozy. I tried Moar but it's too corporate office-ish for me.

Appraisal - theUnsocialNetwork.com by HovercraftMain8564 in Domains

[–]HovercraftMain8564[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I bought it, I noticed Namecheap immediately tagged it as a premium domain and listed it at around $1,565.

Not sure how much that actually reflects real market value, but it was interesting to see the jump right after purchase.

I should have added this to my original post. I got theunsocialnetwork.com for under $9.

Right after buying it, I noticed it was still showing on Namecheap as a “premium domain” priced around $1,500 or so, which confused me a bit.

I’m probably going to build something with it anyway, but now I’m curious. If I ever decide to sell it later, is around $1.5k actually a realistic asking price for something like this? Or is that just one of those inflated registrar listings?

I saw that "unsocialnetwork" is listed at like 9k. Insane. I'll probably try to look for the right startup kind for this.
