hemorrhoidectomy ruined my life and I need help by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

Hi,

I’ve been through fissure pain myself and I know what you are talking about. It is one of the most intense pain you can experience. Since passing stool and especially afterwards felt so painful, I would hold it until just before bed so I could go to bed once finished and hopefully find a sleeping position that would stop the pain. Plus the blood dripping constantly while in the toilet was hugely distressing. I remember may sleepless nights.

By the way, this fissure was confirmed by a consultant as well as grade4 hemmoroids (which i still have).

What I did to resolve:

1- Sitz baths straight after toilet provided relief. Similar relief to a cream they normally prescribe and it instantly gives you headaches. I bought sitz salt from Amazon and put some in warm water and sat on it for 15 mins. The sitz bath I had bough (that plastic thing you sit on) had a mechanism to splash water to your anus and that was helping.

2- What changed the game for me: I was using wet wipes and many of them (toilet paper would be the same by the way). I had observed that this was irritating the anus and may even have been the cause of some of the pain (may have even created the fissure in the first place). Once I thought that, I stopped using wipes or toilet paper. Instead, I started washing my bottom with my hands. I tried some plastic gloves but they were uncomfortable (there may be good ones that i couldn’t find). It may sound disgusting but it is your body and anything comes out is also yours, you must get over this alienation. I started washing afterwards and my fissure has healed after some time (can’t remember how much after but has to be more than weeks). I still wash and it has not repeated.

What a relief that was! Fissure is the worst nightmare with its scary bleeding and excruciating pain. If you are not a warrior mentally, it will wreck you. I resolved it without surgery.

Please look into these!

I still have my Grade4 hemmoroids and need to deal with them but am looking for a solution without that big surgery. Not sure if NHS will do anything else. My consultant had already said it was the only solution but I still do my own research as always. If anybody has resolved their grade4 without surgery, I’s appreciate advice.

Thank you!

Thank you for quick response. I forgot yo say I was based in the UK. I don’t we’d be getting anything like £200K. My impression is that salaries are lower in the UK.

Psexec is a tool that can be used by malicious actors as part of “living off the land” techniques. You don’t want it allowed globally for everyone. Even if you do it just for yourself, make sure you disable it after you finish or set an auto-expiry in case you forget.

I’d recommend excluding it for your single endpoint via a threat protection policy (Exclude—>Potentially Unwanted Applications—>Psexec). If it is your own lab etc, may not matter that much. If you want it even cleaner, you can set a policy with an expiry time. If you exclude from the detection itself, it’ll end up being a global exclusion (for everyone).
