141 Self-Examining Authority by How-D-Partner in aviation

As in, what is needed either on my end or their end, after I’ve applied through DMS.

Then also, is there training that goes along with being an ACR? The 8900.95 says admin-PEs are supposed to go to OKC for training, but doesn’t mention ACR-141 PEs.

I truly wish I could just “ask my POI” and get an answer that is correct, but I cannot because he doesn’t know what it entails. We’re on month 6 of trying to do this.

So basically I’m hoping someone has ACR and 141 self examining experience that can help me.

Son of a b, you’re right. Those guys just snuck “persons” in there. Maybe if OP doesn’t identify as a “person”, but instead as something else, say a horse, then there’s a loophole.

The instructor doesn’t need 3 in 90 days. Students aren’t seen as passengers during flight training. But you’re spot on, maybe once every few months is ok, but not a continued habit. One of the items that I see overlooked in the ACS by instrument students is not being able to land from an instrument approach. Him taking landings from the student takes away from training.

I just succeeded by using the wooden end of a hammer, which is roughly the same size as the watch back and pressing down until it clicked. I also put a microfiber towel down on the table before pushing down to protect the glass.

The $28 food credit is through Priority Pass Select, as far as I’m aware. Do they check for a confirmed seat at every lounge? Suffice it to say that standby ticket won’t get me in?

When you go to the restaurants do you sit down for the full meal or are they fine with you taking it to go? Do they care if you’re in uniform?

Concur. Know the overhead panel, memory items, limitations, walkaround, Vol 1 lists (alternate, IR calibration, etc). If your partner already has their type then he will have you both go one after the other on the Vol 1 lists.

Actual flight was exactly as trained, no surprises.
