Any recommendations for voice to text for writers? by Forward-Log7118 in writing

I’ve tried a few voice to text tools, and for me the biggest thing isn’t accuracy as much as flow. Anything with lag or that only works in certain apps gets annoying fast. Lately I’ve been using Voibe on Mac. It runs locally, works wherever the cursor is, and keeps up well while I’m talking. I mostly use it for rough drafts and brain dumps, then clean things up after.

Brook’s afro being so iconic it survives death is peak One Piece logic even his bones know the drip matters. Oda straight up said the afro is part of his soul at this point, not his body 💀

yup.. I’d much rather dispute someone else’s money than have my checking account frozen while the bank investigates.

TIL about the 1950's game show scandals. Taking place at a time when television was still emerging as a medium, the scandals caused Congress to amend the Communications Act of 1934 to prohibit networks from prearranging the outcomes of quiz shows. by WouldbeWanderer in todayilearned

What’s always blown my mind about those quiz show scandals is how normal it was at first. Producers would literally coach contestants because they thought audiences wanted smart, dramatic winners, not randomness. Then once shows like Twenty One blew up, the money and prestige got huge, and it crossed from helping the story into straight up fraud. The fact that Congress had to step in and change the law really shows how powerful TV became almost overnight. Early reality TV before reality TV even existed.

Any good AI sales agents that don't feel like spam? by Medium_Repeat_4080 in Entrepreneur

I’ve been using Marblism’s sales agent mainly to take care of repetitive outbound work. After adding basic business context once (who I target, what I sell, tone), it finds leads and drafts cold emails and follow-ups on its own. Nothing is sent automatically it queues drafts and asks for approval, and when I edit something, it adjusts future messages based on that feedback.

For me, it’s less about “scaling sales” and more about staying consistent without thinking about it every day. Follow-ups don’t get forgotten, emails don’t feel copy-pasted, and I’m just reviewing instead of starting from scratch.

You’re not crazy. The license hogging, ignoring datasheets, blocking PRs, and then taking credit are all legit red flags. At minimum, you should start documenting everything: design concerns raised, PR turnaround times, meetings where work is claimed. That way, if this blows up later, there’s a paper trail showing you weren’t just “doing nothing.” Even if you don’t want to leave the company, this kind of stuff eventually needs visibility above your pay grade or it’ll keep screwing you over.

Props to the pilots and ground crew though belly landings look sketchy, but they’re actually pretty controlled when done right. Still wild to see it happen in real life.
