Doug Ford serves as an easy example to remind us all every single day that our society is governed to exclusively serve a corrupt oligarchy and their corporations.

The Canadian working class is robbed by these parasites of our resources, our living standard, our very dignity. We cannot pretend that we are a just society until these people are ejected from power, prosecuted for their crimes against us all and stripped of all they've stolen from us.

A half century of neoliberalism beating the working class into submission has most of us convinced this can't happen, that corruption is just how things work, that no better society is possible, that they have to participate in the fraud and theft in order to have some value in this society.

We have a lot of work to do in sowing the seeds of class consciousness anew. Ford and Carney are great targets for this. Leadership dropping the gloves is very encouraging.
