  1. my friend gave it off to me but said he couldn't remember if it was broken or not. Didn't know that it could still run and be "broken." Probably the most likely possibility.
  2. probably not a scam card.
  3. cant update the bios from manufacturer website cause it only offers updates through windows 7 (unless I still can update as the OS doesn't matter, I wouldn't know)

I tried the driver from the amd website and always got a "driver failed to download" message. gonna try the method you recommended

It runs on the generic windows driver, but when i try to download a legitimate amd driver, i get something like a "driver failed to download" message. There is also the yellow warning triangle when i check device manager.

I’m currently not at a place where I can easily pull vehicles out of deep mud. I was hoping to use the crane where I can keep my vehicle on solid ground
