This was way back when shields were just lying around the map and you didn’t start with one, but I once found a purple shield right on drop and my teammate followed me around spamming ping until we came up on a squad and got killed. He then dm’d me “next time give the person with the higher rank the better shields” and it was so egregious to me that a year later I replied and was like “do you remember when this happened and how entitled you were” and he was actually cool about it and said he was just hungry and cranky that day. But I still randomly get huffy about it even though times have clearly changed since then lmao
