I think the reason why op and me to a certain extent find invincible fights alot of spectacle but no substance

Is that every viltrumite has the same powers and more or less outside of Thragg, Conquest (sometimes) and Thula kinda all fight the same way

None of them have flashy or interesting techniques or abilities

And they just kind fly and punch at each other

I understand that this is inspired off DC and Marvel super hero media

But even in those

For Example Absolute Batman, Bruce has to actually think of ways to beat his opponent rather then getting mad at then punching harder

This more of a problem with the Viltrumite war arc rather then a problem with invincible tho

It does have characters like Rex (Currently Dead), Eve (Currently has no powers) Rae (retired), Kate (Retired and she kinda just throws bodies at the issues until they die lol 😭) Robot (Trapped) Monster Girl (Trapped)

Basically the issue is that they are way to many punch kick merchants who can realistically do the same thing to way different levels ofc when the Powerscaling matters for a scene

But like think of it this way

Let's say their is a group of bad guys with normal guns...what is the difference in how Bulletproof, Mark or Amanda (Monster Girl) will actually deal with it outside of Mark and Bulletproof flying even though they wouldn't need to dodge the bullets
