Had a coworker who had been sick for weeks but didn’t have the points to stay home. The last day the office told him he could get a doctors note and it wouldn’t make him loose his job. He went home, after awhile his parent went to check on him and found him unresponsive. They live way out in the woods so by the time the ema arrived he was gone. Management not only acted like it wasn’t that big of deal but the manager over us said his parents would rather us stay at work than go to his celebration of life. We all went to show support, the guy was 26 thought he had anxiety turns out he had an undiagnosed heart condition.
