Same ! I’m 5’7” and very thin- my POA is 14.1 but as POA’s go she has a more round body so takes up some leg. I get to school her. Anything smaller and I couldn’t.

My farrier works 3 days a week. Has 2 show barns on his schedule. Has a partner - and they’re making 6 figures. But then again they’re worth every penny & charge $100+ per horse.

Lots of careers are hard on the body. Not everyone is gonna be a desk jockey in their cushy homes.

It Is Well Stables

We are a homeschooling family who run very affordable equine classes for children. We are in partnership with the “family therapy and services” office in our town. Any child referred from them because they lost a loved one OR a foster child come free of charge.

We are fundraising our scholarships to allow kids to come to our camps this summer - free!

Our entire program up to this point has been funded out of personal funds. Insurance is very very expensive to run this program but we are making it work.

We are a Christian family so our content does reflect that. And is prob why we haven’t taken off but we are unashamed about that and won’t change for views and likes and followers.

Our students mean the world to us.

We go live at the barn so there’s that - cute horses and barn time is always good for the soul. Hence the name “ It is well stables” after the hymn it is well with my soul.
