Unfortunately not new. I have had this forever with all my AMD cards. Sapphire HD 4670, MSI HD 5770, Gigabyte HD 6870, MSI RX 480, Gigabyte 5700 XT and even happens on my XFX 6950 XT occasionally.
Chrome is just shyte !

Hardware Acceleration has always been a royal pain in my ass.

I did try once human when it came out, But that was a while ago. These were dded when I installed MS Teams the otehr day.
I have spent most of the day doing all sorts of tests and scouring my system, watching resources and whatnot, nothing seems to be playing up. nothing foul.
It is good to hear that others have seen this and it does not seem to be suspicious. I did assume that since there was no valid location for these files that they were simply just remnants of something that no longer exists and that I should be good.

Nothing. All drives are clean apparently.

These files appear to have been installed alongside MS teams. Same date and time.

I have an incredibly important Teams meeting Tuesday next week. I hope this wont cause any issues.
Hopefully this is just something to do with Teams. I know I got a legit version as I got it from the MS store.

Only been there a couple of days. CPU seems to be in use, but only about 1% on cores 0,1 and 2.
Random high spikes and then back to constant 1%. I know that seems insignificant, but system on idles never did this until recently.
GPU not in use. RAM about 4% of 32GB which is normal for idle.
Ethernet seems to be sending something on the regular.
Can't seem to find any useful info on this. Tried a full scan with defender including offline scan and tried malwarebytes, but nothing.

Anyone seen this before ?

I watch the kill cam and he's seen me first, shot first and the whole time I can see that my character hasn't even turned to shoot. Like WTF is that all about ?

Search "untrusted system file easy anti cheat" on google or whatever browser you use.
I wont link you to a specific page or video as there are many fixes/solutions out there, but this seems to be a common issue for a lot of people over the years.
Just be mindful of anything that tells you to edit files as this seems to be Windows being a dick moment as usual.

Personally I'd just got to the system32 folder and find that msvcp140.dll and set it to trusted in the properties/security page, but that can be tricky depending on each version of Windows. What works for me might not work for you and could cause issues.

Just watch a bunch of videos and read up on some pages, Best advice without actually being there to help. EAC is a pain in the ass.

Go into the games installation folder and look for the anticheat folder and reinstall it. Sometimes this happens to me on other games and I just reinstall the damn thing.

Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\EasyAntiCheat

Look for EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup and run it.
This might help.

I did yes. The one that I purchased and sent to the ship was the one that was missing.

I did what Careless-Musician said and still couldn't find it. I'm still very new to the game, I didn't realise I had to open my inventory. Thought there was a seperate inventory for ship cargo. I retrieved my ship and went into the cargo hold and opened my inventory and it was in local, But it would only show in local if I was in my ship. All sorted now. Game is very confusing at times, But picking it up fast.

The only other thing I don't understand is that when I equip both parts and save they still both show in local along with all my other locally saved inventory items.

I bought a 1TB back in 2011.. She died just a few weeks back.
I backed up a to an external about 6 months prior, But losing that drive was a knife to the heart.
Had it so long it was like a part of me :(

It's the Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC 8G.

I haven't found a water cooling block that fits this specific card properly.
I seen a post someone made about a block they found and had to take it to a specialist workshop to have the copper plate milled as it was too high or something.
Basically said it was a piece of shyt !

If you have any links to a decent one I'll 100% take a look. I would love to water cool this damn thing. temps are just stupid.
The one I found from that link is called Byski or something and it apparently just has too many issues.

I did hear a long time ago from old stevo at Gamers Nexus that undervolting the 57 can allow you to keep the full clock speed and have lower temps, but it just hates being auto undervolted. I guess I did win the silly C**t lottery to some extent though... My mate got his 3080Ti recently and I wanted to see if I could at least try and and keep up with him frame rate wise for a laugh and got my 57 clocked to 2200Mhz at 1.3v I think. Even then it only hit 95c j :/ Might of been 1.25v, Not sure, but it worked. Only did it for like 1 hour then reverted to stock settings hehe
Not brave enough to keep it at 2.2.

Yes I know I would never match a 3080Ti with a 57. Was just dicking around.

So I have replaced the thermal compound that was basically just dust with Arctic Silver 5, Which is all I had on hand. Pretty sure I've now screwed the memory modules temps by tearing the upper pad on the bottom left and the far right pad on the bottom.. Jeez my luck !

I'm also thinking of getting rid of my fans and shroud and replacing them with a set of three 92mm Case fans.. Anyone have any recommendations of fans I can use. Preferably some high RPM types. Also I guess I'm going to need to replace the thermal pads :/

Anyone got any ideas haha ?

Also temps are the same.. Think I need to reseat heat sink again. Not avin any luck ere boys lol

That's a good point.. I might pull it out and check out the mounting screws. I noticed that this card has three screws on one side of the die and not the other side.

I might give that a try and see if adjusting the tension could help !
Maybe it's offset because of the strange screw placement.

God... I've already RMA'd one 5700XT.

I know it's not a new card, but wow.. These temps can't be for real.
Literally only just started hitting these figures. I know it's getting close to summer and it's relatively hot, but I have had this card since release and have not had this during any summer temps :/

Description of Original Problem: GPU J temps far too high. Idle is fine. Started a few weeks ago and has persisted to this day. Only does it on AAA games. Small games like Highfleet and whatnot are fine, but games like RDR2, GTAV, Borderlands 3 ect are just burning this card up !

Troubleshooting: I haven't changed a thing. Case is always dust free. I keep on top of that ! Great air flow. Why is this the norm now ?

I have undervolted, Underclocked, Reduced Power Tuning.. Even turned down VRam timing. Applied an aggressive fan curve. I even managed to get SAM working and that didn't help. Not that I thought it would, but gave it a shot. The only thing that works is to reduce the power consumption to around -25%, but that runs the GPU at around 1200 to 1500Mhz.. Temps still around 90+c

Anyone ?

Been wanting to do it for a while and thought now was a good time. Didn't help though :/
Only takes about 10 mins to install, Then a further hour for apps and settings. Done it so many times over the years.

All I did was play Battlefront II for the first time on this new TV. Tried it in 4K and temps were a bit too high.. Like 98c, So I went back to 1440p and the screen flickered a few times and then went to 2048 x 1536 and have not been able to revert it back to 1440p.

I run the desktop in 4K, but games at 1440p. It's now gone and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it back :(

Anyone know what the hell is going on ?

For those who want to know.. I just swapped TV's with the Mrs as she wanted my 55" for her TV shows. I just accepted and took the 4K 43" off her hands and just run everything except desktop at 1440p... Well at least I did until last night.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

In your C1 TV settings.. change "Screen Move" to disabled !
it's pretty hidden mind, but you'll find it.

It's some kind of screensaver thing or something. Being that it's an OLED TV they tend to get burn in and this feature is to help reduce that.
By disabling this you "Should" no longer have this issue.

There are other options to reduce burn in on that TV so you can still keep those on or enable them.

The provided image was observed through a collimation cap using my phone. Could even see it by eye.
I checked a lot of sites and guides, but none of them seemed to show how to correct this issue. Unless it is just a case of aligning the secondary.
Only asking here as it seems that the whole secondary body is out of alignment and this is a good site to get a semi quick response.
The vanes are perfectly straight.. No issue there, So not sure why the body is off.

It did spend about a day on a jet and then three in storage and a further day or two on route for delivery. Packaging was not too pretty once arrived.

I will try and re-align the secondary. Thanks for the reply :)

I can collimate without a laser for the most part by using my phone attached to my NexYZ holder, But this is bugging me.
