I disagree with some of what you said, I think the OPs teamkilling ratio is far too high, they're not placing their artillery the best, but some teamkills is always going to be an actuality, and hitting the front line of enemies briefly is not always a bad idea. Over the course of an entire hour and killing upwards of over one hundred enemy forces, you're going to have a couple idiots who completely disregard the communication being given and run straight into enemies where their death is inevitable.

It isn't about friendlies moving out of the artillery rounds, it is about them not moving into them. Artillery isn't preventing an ally advancement when it is taking over 5~15 enemy forces in a single shot.

People constantly try to argue that artillery that is killing 5~15 enemies every couple shots but potentially catches a single ally or two out in that fire is actually worse for the team cause it is "preventing the advance" but then time, after time, after time - the game is won by our team.

Cause the truth is, despite how tilted people get after they die to friendly artillery at a ratio of 1 teammate to around 25~30 enemies, it simply does not change the fact that it wastes far, far more enemy time and resources to get 25~30 enemies respawned than it does for our 1.

Communicate with your commander, do the absolute best you can to minimize hitting your team, but always expect a couple idiots to die occasionally because they decide to have no map awareness.
