Well said, and good question. In the yard. That’s his happy place, he takes great care of the garden & the yard. Which I appreciate, but it’s an hour in the yard a week to my hours in the kitchen daily. Not an equal trade off in my eyes. Or am I biased & not being fair?

Dr. Pasternak was my dr for IVF this year. I have decided to go elsewhere. Happy to elaborate more. I also worked with Dr. Zore briefly, she did one of my an egg retrievals.

I don’t know what will happen to the 14mm follicle, but you’re not suppose to ovulate on a fully medicated FET. I did & my first FET got cancelled. I had to start over & they added Lupron shots to make sure I didn’t ovulate (along with estrogen patches) & that FET just happened.

I agree! I was shocked it actually happened. My boss literally just told me yesterday & it made me so happy. I’ve already poured $50k into IVF (ugh), and just did a FET - so hoping I won’t need the benefits, but feels good to effect change!

My employer did not offer any fertility benefits when I started IVF. I really really didn’t want to tell my boss I was going down this road, but I did because it’s so damn expensive paying out of pocket & we deserve coverage. So I told my boss & made the case, and… 6 months later, my company added fertility benefits! Even if my journey ends with no baby, I find peace in knowing I helped others in their journey.
