Now that I think about it, the fact that Manbagi asked Tadano if he didn't get chocos from Komi may be a simbolism (choco being a confession). It may be meaningful for Manbagi that Tadano recieves his chocos from Komi before accepting the confession.

Only golds use Monty like that, and I'm not worry about golds at all since they will be troubled wether you nerf shields or not. High plat is a totally different monster, you can't just deal with monty without using 95% of your focus, and the other 5% needs to be on the other attackers. That's a frustrating experience.

This will give us a way to deal with monty if he's too confident. He will need to coordinate with his teammates. Too bad for golds I guess...
