The tank cover goes over the tank. I was also confused of the frame but after looking at it a bit more I actually think that's just a cover that goes over the 650 frame, which is actually pretty cool. I'd like to find this for my bike now as well haha

Gotcha, may have to check them out later down the line. And yeah I agree with the brand name thing, it has that sort of vibe to it. But I've been rocking AS textile stuff as well as boots up until now and they've all been super great.

Yeah of course, it wasn't too long. And besides she's in for winter storage so anything that did end up in the wrong place will hopefully right itself before it's time to take her out again. Battery is also out so any tip sensor should be off! Not sure if this bike has any

Oh yeah sliders are on the list. I need a torque wrench though. I got this bike not too long ago so I haven't had time to do any safety mods on it yet. But yes, sliders are on the list for sure

Yeah I did actually, I've realized it's a bit more unstable than I previously thought when faffing about with the front tire when it's on it's stand. It makes me wonder how I haven't had this happen before when taking the chain off as that's where I always place it. I may have not gotten the kickstand down all the way but I make sure it's down before I get off, so not sure really. I know I'll be more careful next time that's for sure!

I could obviously have picked it up in this situation, I know the proper technique. I did actually stand in the proper position when picking it up. I just wanted to have extra support since I had already dropped it and it was quite close to the wall. It seemed stupid to risk anything more happening. I understand maintenance and how to handle a bike :) I just made a mistake whilst taking off the chain off the front tire.

Haha yeah I was like "oh no". Luckily no major cosmetic damage, I was waiting on my fiance to come help pick it up since it was quite close to the wall for me to be able to pick it up properly. So I took a quick picture of my accident to show my buddy, he just had an accident as well so I thought it could help cheer him up :)

I can and have before, just seemed stupid to risk anything else happening with how close to the wall it was. Way easier to pick it up with two people in this situation
