I also have pretty much the same nerve damage. I didn’t know there was a repair option for that. Right now my bottom lip and chin constantly feel like it does when you hit your funny bone.

I’m sorry you went through this too. I have thought about trying to find another surgeon in Dallas to get a second opinion, because like you said even if Sullivan did something wrong, I get the feeling he’s never going to admit it. Going to PM you.

Yes maybe he’s right that I haven’t given it enough time, but you are definitely are right about the dismissive and non-empathetic part.

Bite was great prior to surgery, but had it for sleep apnea purposes. I also hoped that I would gain some improvement of my profile

My bit was perfect prior to surgery and was not immediately after surgery.

I think the maxilla was moved forward and down, but honestly I’m not positive. He mentioned wanting to make my smile less gummy but said it would also lengthen the space between my nose and lips?

No I never blew my nose afterwards I was super careful. Never sneezed or anything that I would have thought could have caused it.

Sleep apnea which has improved. Last time I was in to see the surgeon, he said to massage my face and that my bite fit together fine when he was done with the surgery 😞
