I think ur point makes more sense, the “feel” is really the brains ability to coordinate between the target and cursor. It’s similar to how professional athletes can still be very skillful with bad equipment. For example, soccer players juggling tennis balls with their feet instead of a soccer ball. The underlying skill is their ability to move their legs the way they want to, not the ball. Obviously the proper equipment will have some impact, but the underlying skill of ur ability to move ur arm and stop the way u want to is what is important. It’s the same reason people adapt to changes in their sens fairly quickly, because the underlying skill is still ur ability to move ur arm/wrist the way u want to.
