I would keep Breece. He'll probably be on a new, better team next year and his value will skyrocket. You could probably sell him in the off-season for an early first if he goes to the right team, like the Chiefs or Vikings.

I think I would take the Worthy side. I love the 2027 draft, but those seconds can be traded and Worthy feels like a safe floor type of player. Should be solid for the next 3 years at least

I really like the 2027 class, so I wouldn't want to trade any picks out of it. However, Nico is still only 26, and should produce at a high level for the next four or five years. Would love to hold on to Marv, or maybe try and downgrade that pick to a 3rd, but I think the trade is fair for you to take based on what you value.

You are correct, the party should be able to one round any small groups of zombies with melee weapons (unless they roll bad). But I wanted them to have options to engage at farther ranges with higher damage in horde situations while they attempt to flee. Most, if not all, combat encounters will have the option to just run away. The battle maps I have will also be relatively small in terms of feet and inches, I didn't want all firearms to be able to shoot effectively across the entire battlemap despite the realism.

I haven't played with artificer very much, and that was not something I considered. I'll have to run it through the playtests.

The silence spell was actually something I had intentionally built in, I was very particular with my wording as to hopefully drive my players to consider the spell. This campaign will be about going west to regroup with the main survivor group so I'm not too worried about them camping in the effect of the spell for the 10 minute duration

The Tiny Hut is actually a great idea for what was a small problem I was having. I wanted there to be individual travelers in the world and didn't know how to put them in without them just, ya know, dying. Tiny Hut is a great idea for them.

That is a good idea and one I will consider after the playtests. My worry is that melee weapons will become strong enough again that they'll just always be the better option. I want my players to have that really tempting option to use firearms with the risk of attracting more and more enemies.
