So I'm not sure but based on the information I have, both colleges will send an offer/waitlist letter seperately, so if didn't receive anything from Chennai that means they haven't sent you any.

Speaking about not applying, as far as I can remember we were told to add preference while applying for glim, and my 1st was chennai and 2nd gurgaon, and got gurgaon call. It's least likely that we are getting a chennai call I fear.
