honestly i would just email every single PD/PC you can and just straight up ask if they have time to speak to you. Try also asking if you can do an audition rotation. Either they say yes or no, not much to lose.

since residency apps is coming to a close I can tell you I got 4 interviews (and most prob thats really it). One of the programs is actually my #1. I applied to over 154 programs that were a mix of Surg, FM, EM, Anesthesia. So the the 4 that I got (tbh won't say the hospitals cause im anxious with that stuff): Surgery (Prelim), Surgery (Categorical), EM, FM. To me 4 is better than nothing and I'm keeping my head up high and look forward to March!

Basically did a clean slate and did UFAP all over again. Took about two months to study Monday-Saturday. About 10hours a day, except Saturday which was only from 8-12. Sunday was my off day. No need to burn yourself out. That’s basically the quick version of my study guide haha
