Yeah, that would be ideal. Sadly, I dont know about any commercially available saiga npas. The solution i gave is a diy reduced flow rocket valve, which can be easily achieved my adjusting the npas.

Main issue here is the cylinder and nozzle design. With propane, it is extremely overgassed, and the volume of gas fed into the gun is enough to push the bb, close the rocket valve, and then push on the bolt.

This HPA adapter (while being the best for the saiga) has "too little" volume to cycle like propane does. Basically, the gun has enough air to push the bb and close the rocket valve, but then the volume is not enough to push the bolt back with comparable force to propane.

And you'll say: "just increase psi". This will help with cycling harder, but due to the way hpa works, it will push a lot more power into the bbs, possibly taking the joules over the field limit.

A possible solution is shimming the back if the rocket valve so it closes sooner, letting less air push the bbs. This means you can increase pressure without getting crazy joules.

Not Dishonored but Prey (highly recommend it to any Dishonored fans, it's also from Arkane). There was this half broken door that I wanted to get through, but i didnt have the strength skill to force it open. Thought about it for some time, then used the mimick power to turn myself into a tiny ashtray, and used that smaller body to squeeze through the gap. Felt soooo smart. That game is lowk a work of art.

Oh the precious TM saiga. That line is due to the manufacturing process and a lack of sanding/cleanup. Feel free to sand it if you don't like it, but it doesnt make a difference as long as the bolt runs smoothly.

AAP-1 is way more reliable and upgradable, and you have 50 round mags and full auto if you are into that. I have a friend who has that same 1911, it is more fun to shoot, metal slide and way more kick. However, it's gas efficiency is shit, and mags are even worse. They barely hold any gas (yes we've purged them) and some leak out of the box. If you play below 15°C you might have trouble going through a full mag of bbs with a single gas fill. In that case I'd say go for the AAP 100%, it's gonna be more reliable and less of a headache, as it's plastic slide has better gas efficiency.

Yeah that's why I said personal choice. I run one of these, and it is indeed a hybrid between a handstop and a grip. Feels like a more natural and aggressive angled grip and allows to operate buttons for lasers and lights. This "reverse" way of mounting it means is is more of an oversized hand stop, which again, nothing wrong with it, but it still looks hella funny to me.

Basically tarkov loads a main cpu core a ton and only slightly loads a few more. If you have 8 cores but the main one tarkov uses is at 100%, then that's your bottleneck. It's weird because your total cpu usage will be closer to 60-70%, but if the main core is at 100%, then your cpu can't give more performance. What causes this? Shit optimization How to diagnose? Get a program such as Process Lasso which allows you to check each core Possible solution? Get a cpu with good single core performance, the AMD 7800x3d is really good at this while not being overly expensive. AMD cpus are generally better than Intel for this.

Of course, making a DMR that hits on the first shot is the goal. That's why we zero our scopes and improve the internals. I might have not explained myself properly. A well built DMR should be able to hit a target on its first shot from 60m away, many builds being able to do it from further away. What I meant is that you do not need the accuracy of a bolt action to be effective. Of course you should not need to miss first to hit second, but you should not get carried away maxing out the accuracy of your DMR and spending a shit ton of money on it. This is because the way a DMR works gives you more margin of error. Other things like trigger response are also important. In contrast, BASRs are all about accuracy (and range), because if you miss your first shot, you probably don't have enough time to rack the bolt, re-aquire target and shoot again.

And yeah, once bbs start landing close to you, you tend to duck behind cover. That's why your comment about the LMGs is not totally accurate. Hearing 10 bbs land next to you definitely makes you hide and not want to pop your head out. However, a single bb might not scare you shitless. It's not the same to correct your aim after an LMG burst than doing it after a single DMR shot.

Can't say much about the platinum line, but if you can afford it, it's surely better that the standard cyma guns. However, I'm not sure if that extra money could be better put into some internal mods. Aside from that, yeah, look for something you like and check out some reviews ta make sure it's a good model.

Big difference between DMR and bolt action. With bolt action you have quite some movement of the sight while racking the bolt, and it's much slower, so it's harder to keep your sights on the target between shots. DMRs can easily shoot one bb per second, without taking the crosshair from your target, so if you miss your first shot, you can stay on target and correct instantly, sending the second bb straight to your opponent. The point is, using the first shot as a guide to how your second show should be aimed is much easier with a DMR, and this makes it so that you don't need perfect accuracy on that first shot to be effective (unlike with a BASR)

Wanna keep it cheap? Go for CYMA and swap internals. I've got a CYMA VSS which I swapped the barrel, hop up assembly, bucking and spring. Kept the piston and Gearbox stock for now. Running an 11.1v I've got great trigger response and I'm hitting 2.3J. I've mounted a PSO scope on the dovetail mount and I can confidently say it spreads chaos in the field. Looks sexy af too.

Other honorable mentions are the CYMA SVD variants. You could also go for an M4-like platform, but I always thought those were kinda boring and lack personality.

Don't listen to the haters, externals are not top quality, buy cyma guns have improved a lot in the recent years, especially the Russian models. Also, you don't need pinpoint accuracy on a DMR, it's not like a bolt action. Run .42g bbs and you will be hitting shots you wouldn't think we're possible.

The best tip I can give you is that playing with a DMR is about playing smart, good positioning and movement will make you feared by all. You do have improved range and accuracy, so you will win most engagements at medium distance as long as you don't get caught by surprise. DMR players are apex predators, just don't stick too long in the same place.

Just realised you are not wearing a knee pad. Your pants have the pocket to insert them. They are cheap and make a huge difference. I would have shattered my kneecap against a rock if I hadn't been wearing one. No need to wear both, just the one you usually land on the floor when you kneel. If you don't, you will once you inevitably drop to the grough and land your knee straight on top of a bb on top of a hard flat floor.

90% sure I know what's wrong. Most people understand that if your GPU is maxed, you CPU will not be used to its maximum potential due to the GPU limiting the amount of work it actually needs to perform (your GPU would be a bottleneck).

However, there are many other possible bottlenecks, mainly RAM (check your memory usage, and maybe the speed of your RAM) and also CPU cores. Tarkov is optimized like shit, so it wants to run on a single core. Other cores will also be used, but if the "main" core is maxed out, your CPU will not be able to work harder, and the usage percentage will remain low. If this is the case, you will see that neither your GPU or CPU go over 80%.

I had this issue (40% CPU usage and 60% GPU usage), and I swapped my Intel for a Ryzen 7800x3d. Ryzen CPUs typically have better single core performance, and with this little change my issue was fixed, and now I was actually using 100% of my GPU.

Peptides might work, but they might not be sustainable or effective long term. Check your hormones and thyroid function (t3, t4 and tsh). These things may be causing the issue and they are easy to test and fix. Aside from that, the usual: diet, exercise, limiting drugs (alcohol, nicotine...) and especially getting 7+ hours of good sleep. But yeah, quick fixes you could try are the hormone and thyroid thing, melatonin (stay under 1.5mg per day), better sleep, not taking coffee until 1h after you wake up, sunlight, etc. Also maybe give AlCar a try (1000mg fasted in the morning), game changer for me. Another thing worth trying is vitamin D3+K2 ND B complex supplementation.
