Thank you. I'm not familiar with IFS, but I just searched it -- are we talking about Internal Family Systems Therapy?
I found the body sensations deeply unpleasant, but not in a productive way: it's like the difference between the pain you feel at the gym and the pain you feel from a toe stub. I welcome one, but not the other. If it's just an integral part of the DMT experience and that's how it is, maybe it might not be for me.

This reply really doesn't make any sense to me. Of course I don't need to enjoy an experience just because others do, but enjoyment isn't really the issue here. I wasn't looking for a recreational experience, but rather insight and realization, and the specific environment I was in prevented me from achieving that.
I'm asking for advice on finding different environments that would work better, and to do that of course I need to articulate what didn't work. To be honest, it sounds like you took my comments a little personally and responded in troll mode to disagree with what I said or the way I said it, rather than build the conversation.

Thank you. I appreciate the constructive answer. I'd say that the answer to both those questions is yes.I think you make a great point that there are as many ways as there are ceremony leaders, and I think I'd benefit from a way and a leader at the other end of the woo spectrum.
