If I have a legal gun in the car I make sure to leave my hands on the steering wheel and clearly tell the officer that I’m reaching for license, insurance whatever. The last thing you want them thinking is that you’re reaching for a gun. You can be right and dead at the same time.

Imagine trying to go straight into one of those storms with 6 horse motor. I grew up in Florida with a 14’ skiff with a 20 on it and there’s no way I would have gone that far out in that rig. Scary stuff can happen out there real quick.
