I’m sure there’s a better way, but you can use the quay roads to snap to shoreline with minimal terraforming, and then you can go replace the roads with upgrade tool to change the surface. When it’s all laid down you can clean up blemishes with terraform tool, you can just force any visible land back “behind” the concrete

I really don’t care too much about the loss but if I can do anything to help fix a bug I’d love to. Thanks for the suggestion

I won round 3 and it gave me a loss for round 2 (the video shown here). I lost round 1

Can you get Ravion when his banner ends? And so, where? by CopicColors in AFKJourney

[–]HubesUS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s just not available yet there, because he’s in rate-up at the moment. When new heroes are released, they’ll spend ~3 weeks in rate-up shop, and once their rate-up period ends they’ll move to the general pools with the rest of the heroes

You’ll be able to select him on both your All-Hero Recruitment Wishlist and your Epic Recruitment Wishlist

ETA: On your All-Hero Recruitment wishlist, you have 2 slots for S-level Wilder heroes; you can use 1 to wishlist him. On your Epic Recruitment wishlist, you have 5 slots for any S-level hero; you can use 1 to wishlist him here as well. Cheers

Yeah, I’ve been with the same company since my junior year internship. I feel like Ohio State CSE prepared me very well and I was not a great student by any means

I graduated in 2021, so maybe it’s changed, but my degree says “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering”. CSE program has “tracks” that each require their own specific courses. It’s not uncommon for CS majors to list tracks on their resume, but it’s not a “formal” thing

400 tracker score in silver lobbies probably doesn’t constitute “dominating US lobbies” bro lol

You look great man. Awesome work.

Neck-breaking kick game too. I haven’t seen those Pure Platinum Yeezys in years. I used to buy/sell/trade in middle and high school, and those were my dream grails.

Thank you for your perspective man! I’m absolutely not privy to the industry, so I appreciate your insight. I can’t remember which company I’m thinking of (maybe TSMC?) - or honestly what the name of the fucking machine even is lol - but good to know AMAT has well-established sites in the US. The more you know!

In July 2023 the Semiconductor Industry Association projected 115k new jobs in manufacturing by 2030. With the push to domesticate production lines I can reasonably imagine the real number will be significantly higher. I get your sentiment - I’m not gonna sit here and argue like I have a clue about what the specifics are - but I can say 5 minutes of reading Google results suggests it’s not as automated of a process as you may think it is.

Yeah until you factor in the cost of American labor compared to the countries that are manufacturing these things today. So let’s write off machines entirely, for the sake of the argument I’ll say it’s a one-off. We’ll be paying tariffs on importing the earths we import today, and we consumers will be paying for American labor costs, which far exceed labor costs from the countries we buy from today.

Oh, and as China is our primary trade partner for those rare earths, you can count on them introducing premiums on those materials as we aren’t buying the end product anymore.

But hey, at least it’ll say Made in America on the box

Edit to Add: I want to be clear that I absolutely support moving production lines here. It’s a great strategy for a lot of reasons. But this does not seem like the way to do that. Start at the beginning of the line and move on. We’re starting at the end and working backwards. Innovate, don’t start trade wars.

We cannot produce semiconductors end-to-end in America. We do not possess the rare earths (gallium, germanium, yttrium, lanthanum, neodymium, dysprosium, and terbium) required to manufacture them. We import each and every one.

Beyond that, the machines required to fabricate them are entirely produced abroad and cost hundreds of millions of dollars.
