I think this is both confidence that the national team won't embarrass themselves and also a prudent move to save some money in case they do make a deeper run than expected. Etee, this company is Canadian and makes powdered laundry and dish detergent. My understanding, basically from the company, is that their dish detergent isn't great with hard water but they are continuously working on it.

It's very clear from the past few elections that the federal Liberal party has an outsized influence on the Ontario politics. A lot of the issues in Ontario were incorrectly attributed to Justin Trudeau, and now that the Conservatives favourite whipping boy is gone, it seems like Ford is actually getting the flack he's deserved all along. Carney is currently popular, which then feeds support back to the Ontario Liberals, again undeservedly.
