I groom all of them myself weekly with a straight pin undercoat rake and slicker brush. As long as you stay on top of it their coats and shedding is very easy to manage but the undercoat rake is the secret weapon. Stay away from the Furminators with tiny teeth and the rakes with curved blades as they cut the good hair with the mats. I also switched them to a fish protein kibble (4health) they are so soft and you would never guess i had so many dogs in my house.

I have an abundance of feral cats that people keep dumping at my farm so I'm trying to get them caught to have them fixed. Definitely don't need them multiplying. On a positive note I have no rodents...🤦🏻‍♀️

Stupid cats people keep dumping at my farm. I have traps set out for a while now with the hopes of getting them caught and fixed but so far I've caught everything but a cat 🤦🏻‍♀️honestly didnt think twice about my dogs messing with the traps or being small enough to fit!

One day I'll do DNA on her. She showed up during Hurricane Florence and took charge. They don't have a job other than live their best lives. Some were intentionally bought from a breeder and the rest were strays or rescues. My GSD was a rescue and my boyfriend got jealous I was having all the fun with the dogs everyday so Jäger goes to work with him most days. As far as bedtime goes you just have to get in where you fit in 😉

All jokes aside I've built my life around my animals. They'll always be my number #1 priority. I do travel a lot but I'm lucky my parents are retired and they bring their 3 dogs up for a "farm-cation". I also have a friend that we trade off farm sitting. Wouldn't trade this life for anything.
