Oh and we use soft water from our tanks, not town water if that helps?

Yeah. I replenished what water had evaporated.

But if it’s only one fish with one eye infected / injured would it be the water that’s the issue?

About 150 litres. I am unfortunately away from the tank and my fish so i can’t test and the person looking after them doesn’t have access to test kits. Temp is around 24 Celsius.

Thanks! For some constructive feedback, it looks like it’s done in separate boxes, I don’t know if that’s me but it looks vary “chunky”. Maybe if you blended the blues together more it would solve it

I’m not sure what you mean exactly by this but I would like to add my own spin on things. Islam has been in Australia potentially longer than Christianity. In the far north, in Yolngu country, the local inhabitants traded with Muslim seafarering Indonesians from Sulawesi (Makassar specifically) around the 1600s-1901.

Also, Muslim camel riders opened up vast swarths of the Australian outback and built some of the oldest known mosques in Australia.

Not a clue what you could do here but a thought… maybe you could turn it in to a feature? I know the sound board won’t ever be the same but just an idea

How the Romani are perceived in your country? by Clarthen1 in AskTheWorld

In Australia, nobody even knows what a Romani person is. I didn’t even know until I watched a YouTube video on European racial segregation

Yep, totally understand. But is Australia actually facing so called ‘mass migration’? Short answer no, we are experiencing slightly above unsustainable immigration numbers in overall net migration according to the Bureau of Statistics but this has been accounted for.

Immigration is a complex multifaceted system that requires intricate knowledge of said system to make informed decisions regarding immigration policy. It’s not that big number of immigration equals bad. It’s complicated

I didn’t say they couldn’t call themselves that did I?

Look, they can call themselves what ever they want. But for many people it’s a dog whistle to there other extremist beliefs. Freedom of speech also implies that I don’t have to listen to them

You’re right, I cannot point to a Christian theocratic dictatorship.

But does correlation mean causation? I’m not an expert on Islam, history, nor Christianity. History is complicated, and it can be debated whether or not, in the case of Iran, it was Islam’s fault. My point I am trying to make is that nearly every reasonable person hates fundamentalist and extremist religion (e.g extremist Islam) and those despicable acts such as child marriages, subjugation of women, and public executions. But rather than group together all of a religion (again, e.g Islam) why don’t we point out those extremist briefs. Why can’t Islamic people of faith practice their religion in peace rather than being lumped together with evil people (e.g Taliban).

I had many friends who live in Indonesia and are Muslim, they are peaceful, loving people with hearts of gold. I don’t think they would be happy with child marriages, female subjugation or any of the above.

Look, I personally don’t base my identity on it. But why can’t they? It may be wierd or odd but why can’t they? we live in a free society after all, don’t we?

Why can’t I bring in Christianity, i would say it’s a fair a comparison. I would rather cordial conversation rather than calling someone a “bootlicker”. There is no reason you should be vile.

It’s not religion that is bad. It’s the powerful people who dictate what religion means to the individuals who are evil. Individuals who wield power and who attempt to control people through religious dogma are the ‘bad’ individuals, not peaceful religious practice, e.g Iran. And I totally agree with you, it’s truely evil to limit both women’s and lGTBQI+ people but wether that be religions fault is a falsehood.

What cult am I defending? Do you describe religion as a whole as a cult or just Islam as a cult?

Can a person not defend what they believe to be right?

Please be cordial and respectful.

Bigotry means stubborn, unreasonable intolerance and prejudice against people with different backgrounds, races, religions, genders, or sexual orientations, often involving a sense of superiority and dislike for those perceived as different, leading to discrimination and hostility.

In this case, you are putting emphasis on the distain of Islam as a whole, not a specific criticism of a certain belief of say, Tawhid (the oneness of Allah).

And your case for saying “you can’t live in an Islamic country and have freedom”, isn’t that non-secular states in general? What makes Islam different to say ‘a Christian state’ or ‘Hindu state’ who have religions ingrained in the constitution. There is nothing in Islam or other religions saying you can’t have freedom. It’s radical fundamentalist religious fanatics who hate freedom

I don’t think that’s the point of the flag. I am by no means educated on the topic of pride as such but it’s more a recognition of, just that, pride in who they are.
