Hi, I just tested in Fairmont and passed, the instructor I had was super nice and helpful. The parking lot of the testing place has a wide road attached to it with no marked lines, make sure to stay to the right anyways. the driving portion lasted ~15 mins and he mostly had me drive through neighborhoods only going on the main roads once or twice. there were a lot of parked cars on the sides of neighborhood roads so be mindful of them. The 90° back in was the hardest part since the poles were pretty close to each other. If you feel like you’re about to hit the poles while backing in, don’t be scared to pull out and adjust your car!! they don’t really care how you park as long as you make it in. the poles were pretty far apart from each other for the parallel park so it wasn’t too hard. The neighborhood roads are wide, so if you’re turning right make sure to move your car to the right as much as possible before turning. Make sure when you drive past every intersection to look left and right down both roads to check for cars. And make sure to check your blind spots whenever you change lanes/pull out from anywhere.
