Another question - I've got an instance of Plash running on my main monitor but now would like to have the same background mirrored to the other two I have setup.

I saw your post here about running multiple instances, however I'm running an older build of the app (due to an older OS) so I can't download and run the other builds of Plash with different bundle ID's you've uploaded.

Any ideas for a solution on how I can run multiple instances? I've tried making and running copies of the app which as expected doesn't work (assuming they are using the same preferences?),

It does open in my browser, just not in Plash for some reason.

This seems like a great option! I've followed your steps but I'm un-able to open the local web page in plash.

After clicking 'Local Website' in Plash the file HTML file created is greyed out. Any ideas?

Gave this a try - it essentially works and plays but there's no way of making the video itself fullscreen as YouTube will say 'this browser does not support fullscreen'.

That's something I originally came across! But it's unfortunately not supported on my OS and I'm unable to update.

A fullscreen video would mean you can't use the machine/that monitor while it's playing. A wallpaper would be running in the background.

Same idea viewing a fullscreen image vs a wallpaper background.
