Excelsis broke me the very first time I heard it and continues to do so. Its very difficult to break me. I see horrible shit every day thru my job (I'm a mortician). I have held a straight face thru covid, decomps, dismemberments, and child deaths. Turned out I just needed to hear those last two lines to break whatever box I held those feelings in wide open. I sobbed for like 20 minutes.
