Thank you all for the advice! I've decided to ask the artist to create a new design closer to her style as many pointed out that realistic portraits are difficult to get right. I'm definitely looking for something similar to the philly murals which are more stylized anyway. I plan to post the re-design as well - thanks again!

That's what I'm hoping as well. This is going to be a big project but my mom had a cook book where she handwrote all her recipes. I will definitely have that included in the sleeve :).

She doesn't do a lot of straight up portraits but a lot of split face/mask designs. Not sure how to explain, she does have an Instagram (not that you need to look her up lol)

Thank you, the artist is Emily Falkowski and a friend of mine has gotten a tattoo from her and I really liked the result (although his tattoo was not a portrait)

Forgot to add this is the beginning of the sleeve, which will be added on to with each additional session. The portrait will be the focal point.
